If he wanted to be with you, if he really wanted a date, he would take you out no matter how much he had to work or how tired he is.


And if he hooked up with your friend, I would avoid that all together. Just a messy situation.


Also, its probably not a good idea to define when you will do what. It is good to know how far you are comfortable going as far as sex, but holding hands and such should be done when you feel it is right. Sometimes, it isn't even right on the first date.


Go with how you really feel. And if he likes you, he won't care if he gets to kiss you on the first or third date.
