Well he obviously likes you both. He probably does it with your friend because they've already been out and they're familiar with each other. So I'd have to guess that he likes you too. They're pretty common signs of flirting. That's how me and my boyfriend got together and we've been together 8 months now. Honestly even if you become boyfriend and girlfiend I doubt he will quite flirting with your friend. I would not even bother with him enless he shows he is more into you than you think.

Well maybe he likes you both? But if he knows that your friend has a boyfriend, then he should lay off. But if you want him to like you more, try meeting him by yourself and go to the cinema or something? Hope this helps?
Sounds like he is a flirt.... maybe is comfortable flirting with you guys because there is no fear of rejection in your friendship. Maybe you have been ';friended'; in his mind....... but I suppose you could try asking him out..... crazy as it sounds guys like that stuff.
